Tarantino Jerk Off
I saw Kill Bill (mustn't forget_ Volume I) over the weekend. The reviews before it opened weren't glowing, yet it opened #1 for the weekend, taking in $22.7 million.
If you watch MadTV, you might be familiar with a character played by Michael McDonald named Stuart who does a spastic little dance in his whitey tighteys while chanting "Look what I can do." Very similar to what Tarantino did in Kill Bill. Watch me do anime! Watch me do Hong King cinema! Watch me do film noir! Watch me do spaghetti westerns! Look what I can do!
Oh yeah, there was lots of cool stuff. The old Green Hornet theme song. Thurman wearing a replica of Bruce Lee's yellow suit. Cato masks. Sonny Chiba. Great little things that make those who think they are cool insiders sweat. I could say how beautifully it was shot. I could describe how boring it actually was. I'll sum it all up by saying this.
It was like watching Tarantino masturbating and inviting all his best buds to join in a circle jerk.

And all this time I thought "circle jerk" meant:
1. That street in Indianapolis that goes in a circle (like a traffic turntable)
2. The rock group named after that street in Indianapolis
"Circle jerk" in this sense reminds me of that "buttering the bread" fraternity hazing prank. I won't go into details.

WHAT IM TRYIN TO SAY IS THAT YEAHHHH KILLBILL/1 DID MAKE ME FEEL LIKE IT WAS TARANTINO PUTTING ALL HIS FAVOURITE 70S CLIPS ALL IN ONE FOR A MEGA HYPED FILM THAT HE WOULD PERSONALLY ENJOY WATCHING OVER AN OVER AGAIN BUT HE SHOULD STOP THINKING OF HIMSELF OH AND ALSO THE CATING OR HOMAGE WHAT EVER HE WANTS TO CALL IT/ELLE DRIVER=THAT SWEDISH PORN FILM ABOUT THE ASSASINATION BY A NURSE IN A HOSPITAL BY NEEDLE. I WANT TO SEE MORE GOOD STUFF LIKE *RESEVOIR DOGS* ALL THIS ASIATIC SHIT I JUST THINK ITS A WASTE OF TIME, LEAVE IT TO THE PROS ALRIGHHHT.
RES DOGS IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE A MASTERPIECE NOT ONE FRAME OF THAT FILM SHOULD BE CHANGED EVER.
ITS A BIT TOO LATE FOR THE VEGA BROTHERS AND A WAR FILM WOULD NOT BE THE RIGHT MOVE
